Trip to Jacksonville, Florida

We had a great week visiting Mimi and Gran and spending time with family and friends. On Sunday, we arrived at the airport 4 hours later than expected, but Emma was a great little traveler. She loved the window shade on the airplane and the Travelers Manual!

We spent Monday at the pool and on the beach and had dinner with Mimi. Emma showed Mimi all of her tricks. On Tuesday, Patrick and I woke up early and left for Savannah to meet the twins! We had the morning on our own and spent most of our time walking around River Street and City Market. We even had time to take a trolley ride. The twins and Drew got to Savannah around 3:00 and we spent the afternoon catching up at several local pubs and ate an early dinner before we had to head back. The rest of the week we spent time relaxing by the pool, playing on the beach, and eating lots of good seafood. On Friday, we celebrated Patrick's 35th Birthday and Nana and Pawpaw's 35th Anniversary at a favorite local restaurant River City Brewing Company. We left the girls with a babysitter and enjoyed our night out in downtown Jacksonville on the riverfront. Our last night was spent with Mimi and Gran at the condo.Patrick cooked a delicious meal and Mimi even got to feed Emma her bottle.
We had a wonderful week and I took lots of pictures. It was so nice to spend time with Mimi and Gran and I only wish they lived closer to us. We made some beautiful memories with them and can't wait to see them again!
