Painting projects

This summer, we spent lots of time doing special "projects." Easel painting became one of our favorite past times.  The kids loved painting on paper and each other! One afternoon, I went inside to get a few chores done and came back outside minutes later to find Gordon covered in red paint. Needless to say, he wasn't very happy and Emma never confessed to painting her little brother. She said, "He did it!"

He made himself a cup holder for his water cup.
