Easter Weekend

This year tax season ended before Easter so we were excited to be able to celebrate with my family in Bastrop. It was a weekend of many first for Emma and Gordon. Emma caught her first fish and Gordon experienced his first Easter full of egg hunts and activity. There was never a dull moment!

Several days after the 15th, Patrick and Emma planned a "Daddy Daughter Date Night" and went shopping at Bass Pro to buy her a fishing pole. They bought her a pink fishing hat and princess fishing pole and she was "hooked!" Needless to say, the three days prior to leaving for Bastrop were spent fishing in the backyard. I think Patrick was just as excited as Emma to take her fishing in Nana and PawPaw's pond. Emma caught so many fish we lost count and she loved helping Patrick find the worm to bait her hook.

Emma had fun dying Easter eggs and she was very proud to show them off.
